CSIR NIIST to Set Up a Centre for Ayurvedic Research at Pappanamcode, Kerala

India has extended a new Line of Credit of Rs. 487.60 crore to the Government of Mauritius. The objective of this Line of Credit is to finance the replacement of water pipeline. This is the first time that India has extended a Line of Credit in Rupees to finance a project in a country through the Indian Development and Economic Assistance Scheme. The objective of this project is to replace about 100 km of old water pipeline of Mauritius.
CBDT Amends Rules to Simplify TCS and TDS Credit for Salaried Employees
The CBDT has notified these amendments to simplify the process for salaried employees to claim credit for TCS collected and TDS deducted. Amendments have also been notified to enable claiming TCS credit for minors in the hands of parents.
