Special Courts for People with Disabilities

UDAN Scheme’s Eighth Anniversary

Regional connectivity scheme Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik has completed eight years since its launch. The scheme was launched by the Civil Aviation Ministry. The main objective of the UDAN program is to improve air connectivity in underprivileged areas of the country. On 27 April 2017, PM Modi inaugurated the first RCM flight under this scheme. More than 600 routes have been operated since the launch of the scheme. More than 1.44 crore passengers have flown since its launch. So far, the scheme has connected 34 Indian states and union territories.
