  • India voted in favor of a UN General Assembly (UNGA) resolution calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict and the unconditional release of hostages. 
  • The UNGA, with 153 votes in favor, adopted the resolution introduced by Egypt in an Emergency Special Session.
