The Prime Minister will kick off the inauguration by officially opening the revamped Maharshi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya and commencing the Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat special trains. This event will also mark the launch of various other initiatives.

On the sacred land of Koshalpuri, this afternoon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a new chapter of development and civic amenities in Ayodhya prior to the consecration of Ram Lala. Unprecedented security measures have been put in place, and arrangements are underway for a memorable reception during his visit. In addition to the airport, projects include the redevelopment of the railway station, highway and railway line doubling, and the inauguration of four major roads.
A stringent security setup is in place for the Prime Minister’s roadshow from the airport to the railway station, where he will be welcomed by both saints and the general public.
The Terminal Building’s facade reflects the architectural style of the upcoming Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. To improve access to the temple, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate four newly redeveloped, widened, and beautified roads in Ayodhya: Rampath, Bhaktipath, Dharampath, and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path. Additionally, the foundation stone for a greenfield township in Ayodhya, valued at more than 2180 crore rupees, will be laid.
PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station, developed at a cost exceeding ₹240 crore, featuring a three-story building equipped with modern amenities such as lifts, escalators, food plazas, and childcare rooms. Notably, the station has been certified as a green station building by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
The Prime Minister will also flag off the Amrit Bharat trains, starting with the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express and the Malda Town-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express.
Modi’s visit to Ayodhya encompasses the inauguration of the newly built Ayodhya Airport. He will also unveil the development and beautification of tourist facilities from Naya Ghat to Laxman Ghat.
The urban landscape of Ayodhya will witness the launch of a Greenfield township, valued at over ₹2180 crore, and the Vashishtha Kunj Residential Scheme, estimated to cost around ₹300 crore.
Modi is set to inaugurate several significant projects across Uttar Pradesh, including the expansion of Gosain Ki Bazar Bypass-Varanasi (Ghaghra Bridge-Varanasi) (NH-233) to four lanes, the enhancement and improvement of the Khutar to Lakhimpur section of NH-730, and the capacity augmentation of the LPG plant in Trishundi, Amethi district.
