The National Street Food Festival 2023, spanning three days, concluded yesterday at JLN Stadium in New Delhi. The 13th edition of the festival was organized by the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI). This marked India’s inaugural Zero Waste Street Food Festival. Stalls representing 22 Indian states, as well as those from Turkey, Afghanistan, and Nepal, participated in this gastronomic celebration. Addressing the event, Mr. Puri highlighted the role of Prime Minister Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme in the empowerment of street vendors.
Arbind Singh, the National Coordinator of NASVI, expressed that the festival successfully achieved its goal of bringing together street food vendors from across the country to the national capital, Delhi.
